Translation

It was narrated that Jabir said: “Ubayy bin Ka’b fell sick, and the Prophet (ﷺ) sent a doctor to him who cauterized him on his medical arm vein.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَرِضَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ مَرَضًا،‏‏‏‏ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَبِيبًا،‏‏‏‏ فَكَوَاهُ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ .

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ ایک بار بیمار پڑے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے پاس ایک طبیب بھیجا، اس نے ان کے ہاتھ کی رگ پر داغ دیا۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cauterized Sa’d bin Mu’adh on his medial arm vein, twice.
