It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The one who drinks from a silver vessel is swallowing Hell-fire into his belly.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ نَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي إِنَاءِ الْفِضَّةِ،‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ .

ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو شخص چاندی کے برتن میں پیتا ہے، وہ اپنے پیٹ میں جہنم کی آگ غٹ غٹ اتارتا ہے ۔

It was narrated that Hudhaifah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade drinking from vessels of gold and silver. He said: “They are for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter.’”

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade tipping up water skins. After the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had forbidden that, a man got up at night and tipped up a water skin, and a snake fell out of it onto him.”
