It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: Whenever the Prophet exited the toilet, he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahilladhi adhhaba 'annial-adha wa 'afani (Praise is to Allah Who has relieved me of impurity and given me good health).'

حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَقَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَال:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنِّي الْأَذَى وَعَافَانِي .

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب پاخانہ سے نکلتے تو فرماتے: «الحمد لله الذي أذهب عني الأذى وعافاني» یعنی: تمام تعریف اس اللہ کے لیے ہے جس نے مجھ سے تکلیف دور کی، اور مجھے عافیت بخشی ۱؎۔

(Da'if) Abu 'Abdullah bin Majah said: ( Abul-Hasan said: 'I heard Muhammed bin Yazid saying:) ''Ali bin Muhammed At-Tanafisi said: 'This (prohibition) applies to cases where the ground (in the place used for washing) was soft. But nowadays this does not apply, because the baths you use now are built of plaster, Saruj and tar; so if a person urinates there then pours water over it, that clears it away, and that is fine.'

It was narrated from Hudhaifah that: The Messenger of Allah came to the garbage dump of some people and he urinated on it standing up.

Shu'bah narrated from 'Asim from Abu Wa'il from Mughirah bin Shu'bah that: The Messenger of Allah came to the garbage dump of some people and urinated while standing up. (Hasan) Shu'bah said: That day, 'Asim said: 'Amash reported this from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhaifah, but he did not remember it (correctly). So I asked Mansur about it, and he narrated it to me from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhaifah, that the Prophet came to a dump of some people and urinated while standing.'

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: If anyone tells you that the Messenger of Allah urinated while standing, do not believe him, for I (always) saw him urinating while sitting down.
