It was narrated that Safwan bin Muhriz Al-Mazini said: We were with 'Abdullah bin 'Umar when he was circumambulating the House; a man came up to him and said: 'O Ibn 'Umar, what did you hear the Messenger of Allah say about the Najwa?' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'On the Day of Resurrection, the believer will be brought close to his Lord until He will cover him with His screen, then He will make him confess his sins. He will ask him: Do you confess? He will say: O Lord, I confess. This will continue as long as Allah wills, then He will say: I concealed them for you in the world, and I forgive you for them today. Then he will be given the scroll of his good deeds, or his record, in his right hand. But as for the disbeliever or the hypocrite, (his sins) will be announced before the witnesses.' (One of the narrators) Khalid said: At: 'before the witnesses' there is something missing. These are the ones who lied against their Lord!' No doubt! The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers.

حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذْ عَرَضَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ فِي النَّجْوَى؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ يُدْنَى الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يَضَعَ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ ثُمَّ يُقَرِّرُهُ بِذُنُوبِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ هَلْ تَعْرِفُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مِنْهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْلُغَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي سَتَرْتُهَا عَلَيْكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ثُمَّ يُعْطَى صَحِيفَةَ حَسَنَاتِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوْ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَمَّا الْكَافِرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَوِ الْمُنَافِقُ فَيُنَادَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْأَشْهَادِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ خَالِدٌ:‏‏‏‏ فِي الْأَشْهَادِ شَيْءٌ مِنَ انْقِطَاعٍ هَؤُلاءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ أَلا لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ سورة هود آية

صفوان بن محرز مازنی کہتے ہیں: اس اثناء میں کہ ہم عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ہمراہ تھے، اور وہ خانہ کعبہ کا طواف کر رہے تھے، اچانک ایک شخص سامنے آیا، اور اس نے کہا: ابن عمر! آپ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے «نجویٰ» ( یعنی اللہ کا اپنے بندے سے قیامت کے دن سرگوشی کرنے ) کے بارے میں کیا سنا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: مومن اپنے رب سے قیامت کے دن قریب کیا جائے گا، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر اپنا پردہ ڈال دے گا، ( تاکہ اس سرگوشی سے دوسرے باخبر نہ ہو سکیں ) ، پھر اس سے اس کے گناہوں کا اقرار کرائے گا، اور فرمائے گا: کیا تم ( اس گناہ کو ) جانتے ہو؟ وہ بندہ کہے گا: اے رب! میں جانتا ہوں، یہاں تک کہ جب مومن اپنے جملہ گناہوں کا اقرار کر لے گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا: میں نے دنیا میں ان گناہوں کی پردہ پوشی کی اور آج میں ان کو بخشتا ہوں ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: پھر اسے اس کی نیکیوں کا صحیفہ یا نامہ اعمال اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: رہے کافر و منافق تو ان کو حاضرین کے سامنے پکارا جائے گا ( راوی خالد کہتے ہیں کہ «الأشهاد» میں کچھ انقطاع ہے ) : یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے رب پر جھوٹ باندھا، سن لو! اللہ کی لعنت ہے ظالموں پر ( سورۃ ہود: ۱۸ ) ۱؎۔

It was narrated that Jabor bin 'Abdullah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'While the people of Paradise are enjoying their blessings, a light will shine upon them, and they will raise their heads, and they will see their Lord looking upon them from above. He will say: Peace be upon you, O people of Paradise. This is what Allah says in the Verse: Salam (peace be upon you) - a Word from the Lord (Allah), The Most Merciful. He will look at them, and they will look at Him, and they will not pay any attention to the delights (of Paradise) so long as they look at Him, until He will screen Himself from them. But His light and blessing will remain with them in their bodies.'

It was narrated that 'Adi bin Hatim said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'There is no one among you but his Lord will speak to him without any intermediary between them. He will look to his right and will not see anything but that which he sent forth. He will look to his left and will not see anything but that which he sent forth. Then he will look in front of him and will be faced with the Fire. So whoever among you can protect himself from fire, even by means of half a date, let him do so.'

Abu Bakr bin Qais Al-Ash'ari narrated that his father said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Two gardens of silver, their vessels and everything in them; and two gardens of gold, their vessels and everything in them, and nothing between the people and their seeing their Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, except the Veil of Pride covering His Face in the Garden of Eden (Jannat 'Adn).

It was narrated that Suhaib said: The Messenger of Allah recited this Verse: 'For those who have done good is the best reward and even more.' Then he said: 'When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, a caller will cry out: O people of Paradise! You have a covenant with Allah and He wants to fulfill it. They will say: What is it? Has Allah not made the Balance (of our good deeds) heavy, and made our faces bright, and admitted us to Paradise and saved us from Hell? Then the Veil will be lifted and they will look upon Him, and by Allah, Allah will not give them anything that is more beloved to them or delightful, than looking upon Him.'

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: Praise is to Allah Whose hearing encompasses all voices. The woman who disputed concerning her husband (Al-Mujadilah) came to the Prophet when I was (sitting) in a corner of the house, and she complained about her husband, but I did not hear what she said. The Allah revealed: 'Indeed Allah has heard the statement of her that disputes with you concerning her husband.'

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah said: 'Your Lord wrote for Himself with His Own Hand before He created the creation: My mercy precedes My wrath.
