It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that: A man asked about drinks and he said: Avoid everything that intoxicates.
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ عَنِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ ؟،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اجْتَنِبْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ يَنِشُّ .
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ   ایک شخص نے ان سے مشروبات کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: ہر اس چیز سے بچو جو نشہ لائے۔
