Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated from 'Ali that : The Messenger of Allah [SAW] forbade (wearing) garments dyed with safflower, and Al-Qassiyah garments, and reciting Qur'an while he is bowing.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بَعْضِ مَوَالِي الْعَبَّاسِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالثِّيَابِ الْقَسِّيَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَنْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ وَهُوَ رَاكِعٌ .

علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے زرد رنگ سے، ریشمی کپڑے سے، اور رکوع کی حالت میں قرآن پڑھنے سے منع فرمایا۔
