Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

It was narrated from Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his wife Fatimah, from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] cursed the woman who affixes hair extensions and the woman who has that done.

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ امْرَأَتِهِ فَاطِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ .

اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بال جوڑنے والی اور بال جوڑوانے والی عورت پر لعنت فرمائی ہے۔

It was narrated from Masruq that: A woman came to 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud and said: I am a woman with little hair, is it alright for me to add extensions to my hair? He said: No. She said: Is it something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah [SAW] or that you find in the Book of Allah? He said: No, rather I heard it from the Messenger of Allah [SAW] and I find it in the Book of Allah. And he quoted the Hadith.
