It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: the Prophet ruled that twelve thousand (should be given) as Diyah. (Hahan)

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ سَمِعْنَاهُ مَرَّةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى بِاثْنَيْ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا يَعْنِي فِي الدِّيَةِ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بارہ ہزار درہم کا فیصلہ کیا یعنی دیت میں۔
