It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said; I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'May Allah curse the one who disfigures and animal. (Sahih )

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي الْمِنْهَالُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِالْحَيَوَانِ .

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر لعنت فرمائے جو جانوروں کا مثلہ کرے“ ۱؎۔
