It was narrated from Jabir that the Prophet forbade Al-Mukhabarah, Al-Muzabanah and Al-Muhaqalah, and selling fruit until it is fit to eat (ripe enough), except in the case of Al-'Araya.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأبِي الزُبَيرِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى عَنِ الْمُخَابَرَةِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ،‏‏‏‏ وَبَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ إِلَّا الْعَرَايَا . تَابَعَهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ.

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیع مخابرہ اور مزابنہ، محاقلہ سے اور ان پھلوں کو بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ہے جو ابھی کھانے کے قابل نہ ہوئے ہوں، سوائے بیع عرایا کے ۱؎۔ یونس بن عبید نے اس کی متابعت کی ہے۔
