It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet said: Indeed 'Umra is permissible.

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ بَشِيرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ .

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”عمریٰ نافذ ہو گا“۔
