It was narrated that Zainab bint Jahsh said: I said to the Prophet (ﷺ) that I was suffering from Istihadah. He said: 'Do not pray during the days of your period, then perform Ghusl and delay Zuhr and bring Maghrib and bring 'Isha' forward and pray them together, and perform Ghusl for Fajr.

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قالت:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّهَا مُسْتَحَاضَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ تَجْلِسُ أَيَّامَ أَقْرَائِهَا ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتُؤَخِّرُ الظُّهْرَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعَصْرَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتُؤَخِّرُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَتُعَجِّلُ الْعِشَاءَ وَتَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّيهِمَا جَمِيعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَتَغْتَسِلُ لِلْفَجْرِ .

زینب بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا: میں مستحاضہ ہوں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اپنے حیض کے دنوں میں بیٹھ جاؤ ( نماز نہ پڑھو ) پھر غسل کرو، اور ظہر کو مؤخر کرو، اور عصر میں جلدی کرو، اور غسل کرو، اور نماز پڑھو، اور مغرب کو مؤخر کرو، اور عشاء کو جلدی کرو، اور غسل کر کے ( دونوں کو ایک ساتھ ) پڑھو، اور فجر کے لیے ( الگ ایک ) غسل کرو ۔

It was narrated from Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish that she suffered from Istihadah and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: If it is menstrual blood then it is blood that is black and recognizable, so stop prying, and if it is other than that then perform Wudu', for it is just a vein.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish suffered from Istihadah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: Menstrual blood is blood that is black and recognizable, so if it is like that, then stop praying, and if it is otherwise, then perform Wudu' and pray. Abu 'Abdur-Rahman said: Others reported this Hadith, and none of them mentioned what Ibn 'Adi mentioned, and Allah knows best.

It was narrated that 'Aishah said: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaish suffered from Istihadah and she asked the Prophet (ﷺ): 'O Messenger of Allah, I suffer from Istihadah and I do not become pure; should I stop praying?' The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'That is a vein and is not menstruation. When your period comes, stop praying, and when it goes wash the traces of blood from yourself and do Wudu'. That is a vein and is not menstruation.' It was said to him (one of the narrators): What about Ghusl? He said: No one is in doubt about that.

It was narrated from 'Aishah that the daughter of Abu Hubaish said: O Messenger of Allah, I do not become pure, so should I stop praying? He said: no, that is a vein. - (One of the narrators) Khalid said, in what I read from him - and it is not menstruation, so when your period comes, stop praying, and when it goes, wash the blood from yourself and pray.
