It was narrated that 'Aishah said: They say that the Prophet (ﷺ) made a will for 'Ali,[1] but he called for a basin in which to urinate, then he went flaccid suddenly (and died), so how could he leave a will?! The Shaikh said: Azhar (one of the narrators) is Ibn Sa'd As-Samman. [1] Meaning, appointing him as the Khalifah.
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ أَنْبَأَنَا أَزْهَرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قالت:‏‏‏‏ يَقُولُونَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْصَى إِلَى عَلِيٍّ لَقَدْ دَعَا بِالطَّسْتِ لِيَبُولَ فِيهَا فَانْخَنَثَتْ نَفْسُهُ . وَمَا أَشْعُرُ فَإِلَى مَنْ أَوْصَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ الشَّيْخُ:‏‏‏‏ أَزْهَرُ هُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ السَّمَّانُ.
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے  ( مرض الموت میں )  علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو وصی بنایا، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ آپ نے تھال منگوایا کہ اس میں پیشاب کریں، مگر  ( اس سے قبل ہی )  آپ کا جسم ڈھیلا پڑ گیا۔  ( آپ فوت ہو گئے )  مجھے پتہ بھی نہ چلا، تو آپ نے کس کو وصیت کی؟

It was narrated from Qatadah, from 'Abdullah bin Sarjis, that the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said: None of you should urinate into a burrow in the ground. They said to Qatadah: Why is it disliked to urinate into a burrow in the ground? He said: It is said that these are dwelling-places of the jinn.
