It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Two will never be gathered together in the Fire: A Muslim who killed a disbeliever then tried his best and did not deviate. And two will never be gathered together in the lungs of a believer: Dust in the cause of Allah, and the odor of Hell. And two will never be gathered in the heart of a salve: Faith and envy.

أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي النَّارِ مُسْلِمٌ قَتَلَ كَافِرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَدَّدَ وَقَارَبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي جَوْفِ مُؤْمِنٍ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَفَيْحُ جَهَنَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي قَلْبِ عَبْدٍ الْإِيمَانُ وَالْحَسَدُ .

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مسلمان جس نے کسی کافر کو قتل کر دیا، اور آخر تک ایمان و عقیدہ اور عمل کی درستگی پر قائم رہا تو وہ دونوں ( یعنی مومن قاتل اور کافر مقتول ) جہنم میں اکٹھا نہیں ہو سکتے۔ اور نہ ہی کسی مومن کے سینے میں اللہ کے راستے کا گردوغبار اور جہنم کی آگ کی لپٹ و حرارت اکٹھا ہوں گے ۱؎، اور کسی بندے کے دل میں ایمان اور حسد جمع نہیں ہو سکتے“ ۲؎۔
