It was narrated that Jabir said: The Messenger of Allah stoned the Jamarat with pebbles like date sones or fingertips.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرْمِي الْجِمَارَ بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ .

جابر رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ چٹکی میں آنے والی جیسی کنکریوں سے جمرہ عقبہ کی رمی کر رہے تھے۔

Jafar bin Muhammad bin 'Ali bin Husain narrated that his father said: We entered upon Jabir bin 'Abdullah and I said: 'Tell me about the Hajj of the Prophet.
