It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah performed Tawaf, walking rapidly (Raml) for three circuits, and walking at a normal pace for four. Then he recited: And take you the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim as a place of prayer. And prayed two Rak`ahs with the Maqam between him and the Ka`bah.
