Translation

It was narrated that Anas said: The Messenger of Allah set out and we set out with him. When he reached Dhul-Hulaifah he prayed Zuhr, then he rode his mount, and when it stood up with him at Al-Baida, he initiated Ihram for Hajj and Umrah together, and we initiated Ihram with him. When the Messenger of Allah came to Makkah and we had performed Tawaf, he told the people to exit Ihram but they hesitated. The Messenger of Allah said to them: 'Were it not for the fact that I have the Hadi with me, I would have exited Ihra.' So the people exited Ihram completely, such that intimacy with their wives became permissible. But the Messenger of Allahd did not exit Ihram, and he did not cut his hair until the Day of Sacrifice.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ رَكِبَ رَاحِلَتَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ جَمِيعًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَهْلَلْنَا مَعَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَكَّةَ وَطُفْنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَمَرَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَحِلُّوا فَهَابَ الْقَوْمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ لَوْلَا أَنَّ مَعِي الْهَدْيَ لَأَحْلَلْتُ ،‏‏‏‏ فَحَلَّ الْقَوْمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَتَّى حَلُّوا إِلَى النِّسَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يَحِلَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَمْ يُقَصِّرْ إِلَى يَوْمِ النَّحْرِ .

انس رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نکلے اور ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ نکلے۔ جب ذوالحلیفہ پہنچے تو آپ نے ظہر پڑھی، پھر اپنی سواری پر سوار ہوئے اور جب وہ بیداء میں آپ کو لے کر سیدھی کھڑی ہوئی تو آپ نے حج و عمرہ دونوں کا ایک ساتھ تلبیہ پکارا، ہم نے بھی آپ کے ساتھ تلبیہ پکارا پھر جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مکہ آئے، اور ہم نے طواف کر لیا تو آپ نے لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ وہ احرام کھول کر حلال ہو جائیں۔ تو لوگ ڈرے ( کہ یہ کیا بات ہوئی کہ خود تو آپ نے احرام نہیں کھولا ہے، اور ہمیں کھول ڈالنے کا حکم دے رہے ہیں ) تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: ”اگر ہمارے ساتھ ہدی نہ ہوتی تو میں بھی احرام کھول ڈالتا“، تو سب لوگ ( احرام کھول کر ) حلال ہو گئے یہاں تک کہ بیویوں کے لیے بھی حلال ہو گئے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قربانی کے دن ( یعنی دسویں ذی الحجہ ) تک حلال نہیں ہوئے اور نہ ہی آپ نے بال کتروائے۔

It was narrated that Ibn Umar joined Hajj and Umrah (Qiran) and he performd on Tawaf and said: This is what I saw the Messenger of Allah doing.

It was narrated that Nafi said: Abdullah bin Umar went out and he came to Dhul-Hulaifah he entered Ihram for Umrah. Then he traveled a short distance. Then he was afraid that he might be prevented from reaching the House. He said: 'If I am prevented I will do what the Messenger of Allah did.' He said: 'By Allah, Hajj is jut like Umrah; I ask you to bear witness that I have resolved to do Hajj with my Umrah.' He traveled on until he reached Qudaid, where he bought a Hadi. Then he came to Makkah, and circumambulated the House seven times, and performed Sai between As-Safa and Al-Marwah and said: 'This is what I saw the Messenger of Allah doing.'
