Muhammad bin Abdullah bin As-Saib narrated from his father that: he used to lead Ib Abbas and make him stand at the third side (of the Kabah next to the corner that is next to the stone, in between the stone and the door. Ibn Abbas said: Have you head that the Messenger of Allah used to pray here? He said: Yes. So he went forward and prayed. (Daif) Chaper 134. أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُودُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَيُقِيمُهُ عِنْدَ الشُّقَّةِ الثَّالِثَةِ مِمَّا يَلِي الرُّكْنَ الَّذِي يَلِي الْحَجَرَ مِمَّا يَلِي الْبَاب،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَمَا أُنْبِئْتَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي هَاهُنَا ؟ فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَتَقَدَّمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيُصَلِّي.
عبداللہ بن سائب کہتے ہیں کہ   وہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کو ( جب بڑھاپے سے ان کی بینائی جاتی رہی تھی ) سہارا دے کر لے جاتے اور لے کر خانہ کعبہ کے انہیں تیسرے کونے میں جو اس رکن کے قریب ہے جو حجر اسود سے متصل ہے اور بیت اللہ کے دروازے سے بھی قریب ہے کھڑا کر دیتے تھے تو ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے: کیا تمہیں نہیں بتایا گیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یہیں نماز پڑھتے تھے، وہ کہتے: جی ہاں، بتایا گیا، تو وہ آگے بڑھتے اور نماز پڑھتے۔

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Ubaid bin Umair that a man said: O Abu abdur-Rahman, why do I only see you touching these two corners? He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Touching them erases sins.' And I head him say: 'whoever circumambulates seven times, it is like freeing a slave.'
