It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah set out and when he was in Ar-Rawha he met some people and said: 'Who are you?' They said: 'Muslins.' They said: 'Who are you?' They said: 'The Messenger of Allah.' A woman brought a child out of the litter and said: 'Is there Hajj for this one?' He said Yes, and you will be rewarded.'''(Shih)
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَدَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ لَقِيَ قَوْمًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَنْتُمْ ؟ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ الْمُسْلِمُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أَنْتُمْ ؟ قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَأَخْرَجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ صَبِيًّا مِنَ الْمِحَفَّةِ فَقَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَلِهَذَا حَجٌّ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ نَعَمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ .
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چلے جب روحاء پہنچے تو کچھ لوگوں سے ملے تو آپ نے پوچھا: ”تم کون لوگ ہو؟“ ان لوگوں نے کہا: ہم مسلمان ہیں، پھر ان لوگوں نے پوچھا: آپ کون ہیں؟ لوگوں نے بتایا: ”آپ اللہ کے رسول ہیں“، یہ سن کر ایک عورت نے کجاوے سے ایک بچے کو نکالا، اور پوچھنے لگی: کیا اس کے لیے حج ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”ہاں اور ثواب تمہیں ملے گا“۔

'Abdullah said: And it was conveyed to me, that the Messenger of Allah said: 'And the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.'''

Ibn 'Umar said: And they say that the Messenger of Allah said: 'the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.''' And 'Ibn 'Umar used to say: I did not hear this from the Messenger of Allah.'''

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that: the Messenger of Allah designated Dhul-Hulaifah as the Miqat for the people of Al-Madinah Al-Juhfah for the people of Najd, and Yalmlam for the people of Yemen. He said: They are for them, and for anyone who comes to them from elsewhere. If a person's place of residence is within the boundary of the Miqat, then (he should enter into Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah.''(Sihah)
