It was narrated from Hani bin 'Abdullah bin Shikhkhir that his father said: I was traveling and I came to the Prophet when he was eating and I was fasting. He said: 'Come and eat.' I said: 'I am fasting.' He said: 'Do you know what Allah has waived for the traveler?' he said: 'Do you know what Allah has waived for the traveler?' I said: 'What has Allah waived for the traveler?' He said: 'Fasting and half of the prayer. '

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هَانِئِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنْتُ مُسَافِرًا فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ،‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَلُمَّ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَدْرِي مَا وَضَعَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ ؟ ،‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَا وَضَعَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُسَافِرِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الصَّوْمَ وَشَطْرَ الصَّلَاةِ .

عبداللہ بن شخیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں مسافر تھا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا، آپ کھانا کھا رہے تھے اور میں روزے سے تھا، آپ نے فرمایا: آؤ ( کھانا کھا لو ) میں نے کہا: میں روزے سے ہوں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: کیا تمہیں وہ چیز معلوم ہے جس کی اللہ نے مسافر کو چھوٹ دی ہے؟، میں نے کہا: کس چیز کی اللہ تعالیٰ نے مسافر کو چھوٹ دی ہے؟، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”روزے اور آدھی نماز کی“۔

It was narrated that Ghalian said: I went out with Abu Qilabah on a journey and he brought some food. I said: 'I am fasting.' He said: Allah has waived for the traveler half of the prayer and fasting when traveling, so come and eat. So I came close and ate. '

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: We were with the Messenger of Allah on a journey, and some of us were fasting and some of us were not. We made a stop on a hot day and looked for shade. Those who were fasting fell to the ground, but those who were not fasting got up and watered the animals. The Messenger of Allah said: 'Those who were not fasting today have taken the reward.
