Abu Hurairah said: Thumamah bin Uthal Al-Hanafi went to fetch some water that was near the Masjid and performed Ghusl, then he entered the Masjid and said: 'Ashhadu an la ila ha ill-Allah was ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh (I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger), O Muhammad, by Allah! There was no face on the face of the Earth that was more hateful to me than your face, not now your face has become the most beloved of all faces to me. You cavalry captured me and I want to perform 'Umrah. What do you think? The Prophet (ﷺ) gave him glad tidings and told him to perform 'Umarah.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قال:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ أُثَالٍ الْحَنَفِيَّ انْطَلَقَ إِلَى نَجْلٍ قَرِيبٍ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَا مُحَمَّدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَاللَّهِ مَا كَانَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ وَجْهٌ أَبْغَضَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ وَجْهِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدْ أَصْبَحَ وَجْهُكَ أَحَبَّ الْوُجُوهِ كُلِّهَا إِلَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنَّ خَيْلَكَ أَخَذَتْنِي وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ الْعُمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَاذَا تَرَى ؟ فَبَشَّرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَعْتَمِرَ مُخْتَصِرٌ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ثمامہ بن اثال حنفی ۱؎ مسجد نبوی کے قریب پانی کے پاس آئے، اور غسل کیا، پھر مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور کہا: میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں، اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں، اے محمد! اللہ کی قسم میرے نزدیک روئے زمین پر کوئی چہرہ آپ کے چہرہ سے زیادہ ناپسندیدہ نہیں تھا، اور اب آپ کا چہرہ میرے لیے تمام چہروں سے زیادہ محبوب اور پسندیدہ ہو گیا ہے، اور آپ کے گھوڑ سواروں نے مجھے گرفتار کر لیا ہے، اور حال یہ ہے کہ میں عمرہ کرنا چاہتا ہوں تو اب آپ کا کیا خیال ہے؟ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں بشارت دی، اور حکم دیا کہ وہ عمرہ کر لیں، ( یہ حدیث یہاں مختصراً مذکور ہے ) ۔

It was narrated that Abbu Ishaq said: I heard Najiyah bin Ka'b narrating from 'Ali that he came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'Abu Talib has died.' He said: 'Go and bury him.' He said: 'He died as an idolator.' He said: 'Go and bury him.' ('Ali said:) 'When I had buried him I went back to him and he said to me: 'Perform Ghusl.'

An-Nadr bin Shumail, and others, reported the Hadith from Shu'bah just as Khalid reported it.

It was narrated that 'Ali said: I was one who had a lot of prostatic discharge, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: 'If you see Madhi (prostatic fluid) then wash your penis and perform Wudu' like that for Salah, but if you ejaculate semen, then perform Ghusl.'

It was narrated that 'Ali said: I was one who had a lot of prostatic discharge, so I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said: 'If you see Madhi (prostatic fluid) then perform Wudu' and wash your penis, but if you see semen ejaculated, then perform Ghusl.'
