Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When one of you recites By the fig and the olive (Surah 95) and comes to its end Is not Allah the best judge? (verse 8), he should say: Certainly, and I am one of those who testify to that. When one recites I swear by the Day of Resurrection (Surah 75) and comes to Is not that one able to raise the dead to life? (verse 40), he should say: Certainly. And when one recites By those that are sent (Surah 77), and comes to Then in what message after that will they believe? (Surah 50), he should say: We believe in Allah. The narrator Ismail (ibn Umayyah) said: I beg to repeat (this tradition) before the Bedouin (who reported this tradition) so that I might see whether he (was mistaken). He said: My nephew, do you think that I did not remember it? I performed sixty hajj (pilgrimages); there is no hajj but I recognize the came on which I performed it.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعْتُ أَعْرَابِيًّا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ قَرَأَ مِنْكُمْ وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ فَانْتَهَى إِلَى آخِرِهَا أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ سورة التين آية 8 فَلْيَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ بَلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَا عَلَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ قَرَأَ لا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَانْتَهَى إِلَى أَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتَى سورة القيامة آية 40 فَلْيَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ بَلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ قَرَأَ وَالْمُرْسَلاتِ فَبَلَغَ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ سورة المرسلات آية 50 فَلْيَقُلْ:‏‏‏‏ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ . قَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ:‏‏‏‏ ذَهَبْتُ أُعِيدُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ وَأَنْظُرُ لَعَلَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَتَظُنُّ أَنِّي لَمْ أَحْفَظْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَقَدْ حَجَجْتُ سِتِّينَ حَجَّةً مَا مِنْهَا حَجَّةٌ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَعْرِفُ الْبَعِيرَ الَّذِي حَجَجْتُ عَلَيْهِ.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے جو شخص سورۃ «والتين والزيتون» پڑھے اسے چاہیئے کہ جب اس کی آخری آیت «والتين والزيتون» پر پہنچے تو: «بلى وأنا على ذلك من الشاهدين» کہے، اور جو سورۃ «لا أقسم بيوم القيامة» پڑھے اور «أليس ذلك بقادر على أن يحيي الموتى» پر پہنچے تو «بلى» کہے، اور جو سورۃ «والمرسلات» پڑھے اور آیت«فبأى حديث بعده يؤمنون» پر پہنچے تو «آمنا بالله» کہے۔ اسماعیل کہتے ہیں: ( میں نے یہ حدیث ایک اعرابی سے سنی ) ، پھر دوبارہ اس کے پاس گیا تاکہ یہ حدیث پھر سے سنوں اور دیکھوں شاید؟ ( وہ نہ سنا سکے ) تو اس اعرابی نے کہا: میرے بھتیجے! تم سمجھتے ہو کہ مجھے یہ یاد نہیں؟ میں نے ساٹھ حج کئے ہیں اور ہر حج میں جس اونٹ پر میں چڑھا تھا اسے پہچانتا ہوں۔

Narrated Anas ibn Malik: I did not offer behind anyone after the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم a prayer like the prayer offered by the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم than this youth, i. e. Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Both hands prostrate as the face prostrates. When one of you puts his face (on the ground) he should put his hands too (on the ground). And when he raises it, he should raise them too.
