Al-Bara bin Azib said ; we used to pray along with the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم; none of us bowed his back until he saw that the prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم bowed (his back).

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ المعنى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْكُوفِيُّونَ أَبَانُ وَغَيْرُهُ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْحَكَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا يَحْنُو أَحَدٌ مِنَّا ظَهْرَهُ حَتَّى يَرَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضَعُ .

براء رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے تھے تو ہم میں سے کوئی شخص اس وقت تک اپنی پیٹھ نہیں جھکاتا جب تک کہ وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ( زمین پر اپنی پیشانی رکھتے ہوئے ) نہ دیکھ لیتا۔

Al-Bara (bin Azib)said; They (the Companions) used to pray along with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. When he bowed, they bowed; and when he said, “Allah listens to him who praises him”, they remained standing until they saw that he placed his placed his forehead on the ground: then they would follow him صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; Does he who raises his head while the Imam is prostrating not fear that Allah may change his head into a donkey’s or his face into a donkey’s face.

Anas said: The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم persuaded them to say prayer in congregation and prohibited them to leave before he goes away from the prayer.

Abu Hurairah said; The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was asked shout the validity of prayer in a single garment. The prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Does every one of you has two garment?
