Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: when you hear the muadhdhin repeat what he says, invoke a blessing on me, for everyone who invoke one blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah. Then ask Allah to give me the wasilah, which is a rank in paradise fitting for only one of Allah’s servants, and I hope that I may be the one. If anyone asks Allah that I be given the wasilah, he will be assured of my intercession.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَحَيْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ صَلُّوا عَلَيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ بِهَا عَشْرًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ سَلُوا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِي الْوَسِيلَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهَا مَنْزِلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَا تَنْبَغِي إِلَّا لِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَنَا هُوَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللَّهَ لِي الْوَسِيلَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّفَاعَةُ .

عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: جب تم مؤذن کی آواز سنو تو تم بھی وہی کہو جو وہ کہتا ہے، پھر میرے اوپر درود بھیجو، اس لیے کہ جو شخص میرے اوپر ایک بار درود بھیجے گا اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر دس بار اپنی رحمت نازل فرمائے گا، اس کے بعد اللہ تعالیٰ سے میرے لیے وسیلہ طلب کرو، وسیلہ جنت میں ایک ایسا مقام ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے ایک بندے کے علاوہ کسی اور کو نہیں ملے گا، مجھے امید ہے کہ وہ بندہ میں ہی ہوں گا، جس شخص نے میرے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ سے وسیلہ طلب کیا اس کے لیے میری شفاعت واجب ہو گئی ۔

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: A man said: Messenger of Allah, the muadhdhins excel us. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Say (the same words) as they say, and when you come to the end, make a petition and that will be granted to you.

Saad bin Abi Waqqas reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: If anyone says when he hears the MuadhDHIN: “And I testify that there is no god but Allah alone who has no partner and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger: I am satisfied with Allah as lord, with Muhammad as Messenger and with Islam as religion”, he will be forgiven.

Aishah said that when the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم heard the Muadhdhin uttering the testimony, he would say: “And I too, and I too”.

Umar bin al-khattab reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; When the MuadhDHIN says: “Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and one of you says in response: “Allah is most great”, Allah is most great; then says: “ I testify tht there is no god but Allah”, and he says in response: “I testify that there is no god but Allah”, then say: ” I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, and he makes the response: “ I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”, then says: “Come to prayer”, and he makes the response: “There is no might and no power except in Allah”: then says: “ Allah is most great, Allah is most great”, and he makes the response: “Allah is most great”, then says: “There is no god but Allah”, if he says this from his heart, he enter Paradise.

Narrated Abu Umamah, or one of the Companion of the Prophet: Bilal began the Iqamah, and when he said: The time for prayer has come, the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: May Allah establish it and cause it to continue.

Jabir bin Abdullah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: if anyone says when he hears the call to prayer: “O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and of the prayer which is established for all time, grant Muhammad the wasilah and excellency, and raise him up in a praiseworthy position which Thou hast promised, he will be assured of my intercession.
