Narrated Abu Dharr: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم addressed me, saying: O Abu Dharr! I replied: At thy service and at thy pleasure, Messenger of Allah! may I be ransom for thee.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا و مُسْلِمٌ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ يَعْنِيَانِ ابْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْزَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قال النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ،‏‏‏‏ فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَنَا فِدَاؤُكَ .

ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ کو پکارا: اے ابوذر! میں نے کہا: میں حاضر ہوں حکم فرمائیے اللہ کے رسول! میں آپ پر فدا ہوں۔

Narrated Imran ibn Husayn: In the pre-Islamic period we used to say: May Allah make the eye happy for you, and Good morning but when Islam came, we were forbidden to say that. AbdurRazzaq said on the authority of Mamar: It is disapproved that a man should say: May Allah make the eye happy for you, but there is no harm in saying: May Allah make your eye happy.

Abu Qatadah said: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was on journey. The people became thirsty, and they went quickly. I guarded the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on that night. He said: May Allah guard you for the reason you have guarded His Prophet!

Narrated Muawiyah: Abu Mijlaz said: Muawiyah went out to Ibn az-Zubayr and Ibn Amir. Ibn Amir got up and Ibn az-Zubayr remained sitting. Muawiyah said to Ibn Amir: Sit down, for I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: Let him who likes people to stand up before him prepare his place in Hell.

Narrated Abu Umamah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came out to us leaning on a stick. We stood up to show respect to him. He said: Do not stand up as foreigners do for showing respect to one another.

Narrated A man: Ghalib said: When we were sitting at al-Hasan's door, a man came along. He said: My father told me on the authority of my grandfather, saying: My father sent me to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Go to him and give him a greeting. So I went to him and said: My father sends you a greeting. He said: Upon you and upon your father be peace.
