Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying; The angels invoke blessings on any of you who remains sitting at the place where he says his prayers so long as he is defiled (needs ablution) or stands up, saying: O Allah, forgives him; O Allah, have mercy on him.

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تُصَلِّي عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ مَا دَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ الَّذِي صَلَّى فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْهُ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: فرشتے تم میں سے ہر ایک شخص کے لیے دعائے خیر و استغفار کرتے رہتے ہیں جب تک وہ اس جگہ میں جہاں اس نے نماز پڑھی ہے بیٹھا رہتا ہے، جب تک کہ وہ وضو نہ توڑ دے یا اٹھ کر چلا نہ جائے، فرشتے کہتے ہیں: «اللهم اغفر له اللهم ارحمه» اے اللہ! اسے بخش دے، اے اللہ! اس پر رحم فرما ۔

The angels say: O Allah, forgive him? O Allah, take mercy on him, until he turns away, or he is defiled. He was asked: what is meant by defilement? He replied: he breaks wind gently or loudly.
