Abu al-Malih bin Usamah quoting his father said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade (the use of) the skins of beasts of prey.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْمَاعِيل بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَاهُمُ الْمَعْنَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ جُلُودِ السِّبَاعِ .

اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے درندوں کی کھالوں کے استعمال سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

Narrated Jabir: We were with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on a journey. He said: Make a general practice of wearing sandals, for a man keeps riding as long as he wears sandals.
