Narrated Jabir: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم entered Makkah in the year of the Conquest while he had a black turben over him.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْجَابِرٍ:‏‏‏‏ أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ .

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح کے سال مکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور آپ ایک کالی پگڑی باندھے ہوئے تھے۔

Amr bin Huraith quoting his father said: I saw the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم on the pulpit and he wore a black turban, and he let both the ends hang between his shoulders.

Narrated Ali ibn Rukanah: Ali quoting his father said: Rukanah wrestled with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم threw him on the ground. Rukanah said: I heard the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم say: The difference between us and the polytheists is that we wear turbans over caps.

Narrated Abdur Rahman ibn Awf: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم put a turban on me and let the ends hang in front of him and behind me.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade wearing clothes in two styles: that a man sits in a single garment with his hands round his knees and uncover his private parts towards heaven and that he wears his garment while one of his sides is uncovered, and puts the garment on his shoulders.

Narrated Jabir: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade that a man should wrap himself completely in a garment with his hands hidden it, or sit in a single garment with his hands round his knees.

Muawiyah bin Qurrah quoted his father as saying: I came to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم with a company of Muzainah and we swore allegiance to him. The buttons of his shirt were open. I swore allegiance to him and I put my hand inside the collar of his shirt and felt the seal. Urwah said: I always saw Muawiyah and his son opening their buttons of the collar during winter and summer. They never closed their buttons.
