Anas bin Malik reported that Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from niggardliness and old age.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْبَخَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ .

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں بخیلی اور بڑھاپے سے۱؎ ۔
