Narrated Abdullah ibn Maqil ibn Muqarrin: A bedouin prayed with the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم. He then narrated the tradition (No 0380) about urinating of that bedouin. This version adds: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Remove the earth where he urinated and throw it away and pour water upon the place. Abu Dawud said: This is a mursal tradition (i. e. the narrator quotes the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم directly, although he did not see him). Ibn Maqil did not see the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَازِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ صَلَّى أَعْرَابِيٌّ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏خُذُوا مَا بَالَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ التُّرَابِ فَأَلْقُوهُ وَأَهْرِيقُوا عَلَى مَكَانِهِ مَاءً، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ مُرْسَلٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ابْنُ مَعْقِلٍ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

عبداللہ بن معقل بن مقرن کہتے ہیں کہ ایک اعرابی نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، پھر انہوں نے اعرابی کے پیشاب کرنے کے اسی قصہ کو بیان کیا اس میں ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس مٹی پر اس نے پیشاب کیا ہے وہ اٹھا کر پھینک دو اور اس کی جگہ پر پانی بہا دو ۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: یہ روایت مرسل ہے اس لیے کہ ابن معقل نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نہیں پایا ہے۔

Ibn Umar said: I used to sleep in the mosque in the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم when I was young and bachelor. The dogs would urinate frequently visit the mosque, and no one would sprinkle over it.

Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Muminin: The slave-mother of Ibrahim ibn Abdur Rahman ibn Awf asked Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: I am a woman having a long border of clothe and I walk in filthy place; (then what should I do?). Umm Salamah replied: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: What comes after it cleanses it.

Narrated A woman of the Banu AbdulAshhal: She reported: I said Messenger of Allah, our road to the mosque has an unpleasant stench; what should we do when it is raining? He asked: Is there not a cleaner part after the filthy part of the road? She replied: Why not (there is one)! He said: It makes up for the other.

Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When any one of you treads with his sandal upon an unclean place, the earth will render it purified.
