Narrated Iyas ibn Abd: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم forbade the sale of excess water.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَطَّارُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْإِيَاسِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ فَضْلِ الْمَاءِ .

ایاس بن عبد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فاضل ( پینے کے ) پانی کے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
