Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: No woman of Banu Qurayzah was killed except one. She was with me, talking and laughing on her back and belly (extremely), while the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم was killing her people with the swords. Suddenly a man called her name: Where is so-and-so? She said: I I asked: What is the matter with you? She said: I did a new act. She said: The man took her and beheaded her. She said: I will not forget that she was laughing extremely although she knew that she would be killed.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ لَمْ يُقْتَلْ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ تَعْنِي بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ إِلَّا امْرَأَةٌ إِنَّهَا لَعِنْدِي تُحَدِّثُ تَضْحَكُ ظَهْرًا وَبَطْنًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يقتل رجالهم بالسيوف، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إذ هتف هاتف باسمها أين فلانة ؟ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ أَنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ وَمَا شَأْنُكِ ؟ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَثٌ أَحْدَثْتُهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَانْطَلَقَ بِهَا فَضُرِبَتْ عُنُقُهَا فَمَا أَنْسَى عَجَبًا مِنْهَا أَنَّهَا تَضْحَكُ ظَهْرًا وَبَطْنًا وَقَدْ عَلِمَتْ أَنَّهَا تُقْتَلُ .

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ بنی قریظہ کی عورتوں میں سے کوئی بھی عورت نہیں قتل کی گئی سوائے ایک عورت کے جو میرے پاس بیٹھ کر اس طرح باتیں کر رہی تھی اور ہنس رہی تھی کہ اس کی پیٹھ اور پیٹ میں بل پڑ جا رہے تھے، اور رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے مردوں کو تلوار سے قتل کر رہے تھے، یہاں تک کہ ایک پکارنے والے نے اس کا نام لے کر پکارا: فلاں عورت کہاں ہے؟ وہ بولی: میں ہوں، میں نے پوچھا: تجھ کو کیا ہوا کہ تیرا نام پکارا جا رہا ہے، وہ بولی: میں نے ایک نیا کام کیا ہے، عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: پھر وہ پکارنے والا اس عورت کو لے گیا اور اس کی گردن مار دی گئی، اور میں اس تعجب کو اب تک نہیں بھولی جو مجھے اس کے اس طرح ہنسنے پر ہو رہا تھا کہ اس کی پیٹھ اور پیٹ میں بل پڑ پڑ جا رہے تھے، حالانکہ اس کو معلوم ہو گیا تھا کہ وہ قتل کر دی جائے گی۱؎۔

Al Sab bin Jaththamah said that he asked the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم about the polytheists whose settlemnst were attacked at night when some of their offspring and women were smitten. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم “They are of them. Amr bin Dinar used to say “they are regarded in the same way as their parents. ” Al-Zuhri said: Thereafter the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم prohibited to kill women and children.

Narrated Hamzah al-Aslami: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم appointed him commander over a detachment. He said: I went out along with it. He (the Prophet) said: If you find so-and-so, burn him with the fire. I then turned away, and he called me. So I returned to him, and he said: If you find so-and-so, kill him, and do not burn him, for no one punishes with fire except the Lord of the fire.

Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sent us along with a contingent, and said: If you find so-and-so. He then narrated the rest of the tradition to the same effect.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Masud: We were with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم during a journey. He went to ease himself. We saw a bird with her two young ones and we captured her young ones. The bird came and began to spread its wings. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came and said: Who grieved this for its young ones? Return its young ones to it. He also saw an ant village that we had burnt. He asked: Who has burnt this? We replied: We. He said: It is not proper to punish with fire except the Lord of fire.

Narrated Wathilah ibn al-Asqa: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم announced to go on expedition for Tabuk. I went to my family and then proceeded (on journey). The vanguard of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم had already proceeded. So I began to announce loudly in Madina: Is there anyone who takes a man on his ride, and he will get his share (from the booty? An old man from the Ansar (Helpers) spoke loudly: We shall have his share if we take him with us on our mount by turns, and he will have his meal with us. I said: Yes. He said: So go on journey with Allah's blessing. I then proceeded along with my best companion and Allah gave us booty. Some she-camels were given to me as my share of booty. I drove them till I reached him. He came out and sat on the rear part of the saddle of his camel. He then said: Drive them backward. He again said: Drive them forward. He then said: I find your she-camels very gentle. He said: This is your booty which I stipulated for you. He replied: Take your she-camels, my nephew; we did not intend (to get) your portion.

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying “Our Lord Most High is charmed with people who will be led to Paradise in chains. ”
