Abu Harrah Al Ruqashi reported on the authority of his uncle” The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said “If you fear the recalcitrance abandon them in their beds. ” The narrator Hammad said “By abandonment he meant abandonment of intercourse. ”

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي حُرَّةَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمِّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَاهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِي الْمَضَاجِعِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ حَمَّادٌ:‏‏‏‏ يَعْنِي النِّكَاحَ.

ابوحرہ رقاشی اپنے چچا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر تم ان کی نافرمانی سے ڈرو تو انہیں بستروں میں ( تنہا ) چھوڑ دو ۔ حماد کہتے ہیں: یعنی ان سے صحبت نہ کرو۔

Iyas ibn Abdullah ibn Abu Dhubab reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Do not beat Allah's handmaidens, but when Umar came to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and said: Women have become emboldened towards their husbands, he (the Prophet) gave permission to beat them. Then many women came round the family of the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم complaining against their husbands. So the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: Many women have gone round Muhammad's family complaining against their husbands. They are not the best among you.

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife.

Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: to Ali: Do not give a second look, Ali, (because) while you are not to blame for the first, you have no right to the second.

Ibn Masud reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying “ A woman should not rub her body directly with the body of another woman so that she describes it to her husband as if he were looking at her. ”

Jabir said “The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم saw a woman so he entered upon Zainab daughter of Jahsh and had intercourse with her. He صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم then came out and said to his companions and said to them “A woman advances in the form of a devil. When one of you finds that he should go to his wife (and have intercourse with her) for that will repel what he is feeling.
