The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Abu Musa al-Ashari through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: Be lenient to yourselves, O people.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ فِيهِ:‏‏‏‏ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ارْبَعُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِكُمْ .

اس سند سے بھی ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہی حدیث روایت کی ہے البتہ اس میں یہ ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: لوگو! اپنے اوپر آسانی کرو ۔

Abu Saeed al-Khudri reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: If anyone says I am pleased with Allah as Lord, with Islam as religion and with Muhammad صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as Messenger Paradise will be his due.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: If anyone invokes blessings on me once, Allah will bless him ten times.

Aws bin Was reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Among the most excellent of your days in Friday ; so invoke many blessings on me on that day, for your blessing will be submitted to me. They (the Companions) asked: Messenger of Allah, how can our blessing be submitted to you, when your body is decayed ? He said: Allah has prohibited the earth from consuming the bodies of Prophets.

Jabir bin Abdullah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Do not invoke curse on yourselves, and do not invoke curse on your children, and do not invoke curse on your servants, and do not invoke curse on your property, lest you happen to do it at a time when Allah is asked for something and grants your request. Abu Dawud said: This Hadith has a continuous chain of narrators, Ubadah bin Al-Walid bin Ubadah (did) met Jabir.

Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: A woman said to the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم: Invoke blessing on me as well as on my husband. The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: May Allah send blessing on you and your husband.
