Abdullah bin Zaid bin Asim reported this tradition saying: He rinsed his mouth and snuffed up water from one hand, doing that three times
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ كَفٍّ وَاحِدَةٍ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ.
اس سند سے بھی عبداللہ بن زید بن عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ سے یہی حدیث مروی ہے، اس میں ہے کہ   انہوں نے ایک ہی چلو سے کلی کی اور ناک میں پانی ڈالا تین بار ایسا ہی کیا، پھر انہوں نے اسی طرح ذکر کیا۔

Habban bin Wasi reported on the authority of his father who heard Abdullah bin Zaid al-Asim al-Mazini say that he saw the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم performing ablution. He then described his ablution saying: He wiped his head with water which was not what was left over after washing his hands (i. e. he wiped his head with clean water); then he washed his feet until he cleansed them.
