Ibn 'Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) took (meat of) goat's shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

عطاء بن یسار نے حضرت ابن عباس ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے بکری کا شانہ تناول فرمایا ، پھر نماز پڑھی اور وضو نہیں کیا ۔

Ibn 'Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) took flesh from the bone or meat, and then offered prayer and did not perform ablution, and (in fact) he did not touch water.

He was called for prayer and he got'up, leaving aside the knife, and offered prayer but did not perform ablution. Ibn 'Abbas reported it on the authority of Maimuana, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) took (a piece of goat's) shoulder at her place, and then offered prayer but did not perform ablution.
