Abu Huraira narrated a hadith like this through another chain of transmitters. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters.

حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ النَّجَّارِ الْيَمَامِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِهِمْ ْ

ابوسلمہ اور ہمام بن منبہ نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے اور انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ان ( گزشتہ راویوں ) کی حدیث کے ہم معنی حدیث بیان کی ۔

Abdullah b. 'Amr b. al-'As reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Allah ordained the measures (of quality) of the creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth, as His Throne was upon water.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Hani with the same chain of transmitters, but there is no mention of His Throne was upon water.

Abdullah b. Amr b. al-'As reported that he heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Verily, the hearts of all the sons of Adam are between the two fingers out of the fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart. He turns that to any (direction) He likes. Then Allahs Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: 0 Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Thine obedience.

Tawus reported: I found some Companions of Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Everything is by measure. And he further said: I heard Abdullah b. 'Umar as saying: There is a neasure for everything-even for incapacity and-capability.

Abu Huraira reported that the polytheists of the Quraish came to have an argument with Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) in regard to Destiny and then this verse was revealed: On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces, taste the touch of Fire. Surely, We have created everything according to a measure (liv. 48).
