Translation

Anas reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: When Allah fashioned Adam in Paradise, He left him as He liked him to leave. Then Iblis roamed round him to see what actually that was and when he found him hollow from within, he recognised that he had been created with a disposition that he would not have control over himself.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَمَّا صَوَّرَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ تَرَكَهُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَجَعَلَ إِبْلِيسُ يُطِيفُ بِهِ يَنْظُرُ مَا هُوَ فَلَمَّا رَآهُ أَجْوَفَ عَرَفَ أَنَّهُ خُلِقَ خَلْقًا لَا يَتَمَالَكُ ُ

یونس بن محمد نے حماد بن سلمہ سے ، انہوں نے ثابت سے ، انہوں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے جنت میں حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کی صورت بنا لی تو جب تک چاہا ان ( کے جسد ) کو وہاں رکھا ۔ ابلیس اس کے اردگرد گھوم کر دیکھنے لگا کہ وہ کیسا ہے ۔ جب اس نے دیکھا کہ وہ ( جسم ) اندر سے کھوکھلا ہے تو اس نے جان لیا کہ اسے اس طرح پیدا کیا گیا کہ یہ خود پر قابو نہیں رکھ سکتا ۔ "

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Huraira and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Hatim Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) is reported to have said: When any one of you fights with his brother, he should avoid his face for Allah created Adam in His own image.
