Translation

Arabic, english and urdu

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said to Ubayy b. Ka'b: I have been commanded to recite to you the Sura (al- Bayyinah) which opens with these words (Lam Yakunil-ladhiyna Kafaruu) He said: Has he mentioned to you my name? He said: Yes; thereupon he shed tears of joy.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لِأُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ: إِنَّ اللهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَقْرَأَ عَلَيْكَ: {لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا} [البينة: 1] قَالَ: وَسَمَّانِي؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» قَالَ: فَبَكَى.

محمد بن جعفر نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے قتادہ سے سنا ، وہ حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث بیان کررہے تھے ، انھوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ن حضرت ابی ابن کعب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے فرمایا : " اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے حکم دیا ہے کہ میں تمھارے سامنے ( قرآن مجید کی یہ سورت ) : ﴿لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا﴾ ( البینہ 1 : 98 ) تلاوت کروں ۔ ( حضرت ابی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ) کہا : اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرا نام لیا ہے؟آپ نے فرمایا : " ہاں ۔ " تو وہ ( حضرت ابی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ ) رونے لگے ۔

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying while the bier of Sa'd b. Mu'adh was placed before them: The Throne of the most Gracious shook at the death of Sa'd b. Mu'adh.

Jabir reported that the Throne of the most Compassionate shook because of the death of Sa'd b. Mu'adh.

Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as say- ing: That his bier (that of Sa'd) was placed (before them) and the Throne of the most Compassionate shook.

Al-Bara' reported that a garment of silk was presented to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ). His Companions touched it and admired its softness; there- upon he said: Do you admire the softness of this (cloth)? The handkerchiefs of Sa'd b. Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this.
