Translation

Ismail reported: I said to 'Abdullah b. Abi Aufa: Did Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) give glad tidings of Paradise to Khadija? He said: Yes. He did give glad tidings to her of a palace of jewels in Paradise wherein there would be no noise and no toil.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَشَّرَ خَدِيجَةَ بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، «بَشَّرَهَا بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ قَصَبٍ لَا صَخَبَ، فِيهِ وَلَا نَصَبَ»

عبداللہ بن نمیر اور محمد بن بشر عبدی نے اسماعیل سے روایت کی ، کہا : میں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا : کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو جنت میں ایک گھر کی بشارت دی تھی؟انھوں نے کہا : ہاں ، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا کو ایسے گھر کی بشارت دی تھی جو ( موتیوں کی ) شاخوں سے بنا ہے ، اس میں نہ شور وشغب ہوگا اور نہ تکان ہوگی ۔

A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) gave glad tidings to Khadija bint Khuwailid of a palace in Paradise.

A'isha reported: Never did I feel jealous of any woman as I was jealous of Khadija. She had died three years before he (the Holy Prophet) married me. I often heard him praise her, and his lord, the Exalted and Glorious, had commanded him to give her the glad tidings of a palace of jewels in Paradise: and whenever he slaughtered a sheep he presented (its meat) to her female companions.

A'isha reported: Never did I feel jealous of the wives of Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) but in case of Khadija, although I did no, (have the privilege to) see her. She further added that whenever Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) slaughtered a sheep, he said: Send it to the companions of Khadija I annoyed him one day and said: (It is) Khadija only who always prevails upon your mind. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Her love had been nurtured in my heart by Allah Himself.

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abu Usama up to the slaughtering of a sheep, but he. did not make mention of the subsequent words.

A'isha reported: Never did I feel jealous of any wife amongst the wives of Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as I feel in case of Khadija (though I had never seen her), for he praised her very often.
