Translation

Abu Huraira reported ahadith from the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) (and one of them was) that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said Jesus son of Mary saw a person committing theft; thereupon Jesus said to him: You committed theft. He said: Nay. By Him besides Whom there is no god (I have not committed theft). Thereupon Jesus said: I affirm my faith in Allah It is my ownself that deceived me.

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ: هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: رَأَى عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَجُلًا يَسْرِقُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عِيسَى: سَرَقْتَ؟ قَالَ: كَلَّا، وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَقَالَ: عِيسَى آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ وَكَذَّبْتُ نَفْسِي

۔ معمر نے ہمام بن منبہ سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے کہا : یہ احادیث ہیں جو حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیان کیں ، ان میں سے ایک یہ ہے : اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : حضرت عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہ السلام نے ایک شخص کو چوری کرتے ہو ئے دیکھا تو حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام نے اس سے کہا : تم نے چوری کی؟ اس نے کہا : ہر ز نہیں ، اس ذات کی قسم جس کے سوا کو ئی معبود نہیں !تو حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السلام نے فر ما یا : میں اللہ پر ایمان لا یا اور اپنے آپ کو جھٹلا یا ۔ "

Anas b. Malik reported that a person came to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) and said: O, the best of creation; thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: He is Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as having said that Ibrahim (as) circumcised himself with the help of an adze when he was eighty years old.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: We have more claim to doubt than Ibrahim (peace be upon him) when he said, My Lord, show me how thou wilt quicken the dead. He said: Believeth thou not? He said: Yes, but that my heart rest at ease (the Holy Qur'an. 260). May Lord have mercy on Lot that he wanted a strong support and had I stayed in the prison as long as Yusuf stayed I would have responded to him who invited me.
