This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Anas b. Malik with this addition that instead of the word al-Amhaq there is the word Azhar.

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنُونَ ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّاءَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، كِلَاهُمَا، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا كَانَ أَزْهَرَ

اسماعیل بن جعفر اور سلیمان بن بلال دونوں نے ربیعہ بن ابی عبدالرحمان سے ، انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، امام مالک بن انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کی حدیث کے مانندحدیث بیان کی اور ان دونوں نےاپنی حدیث میں مذید بیان کیا : آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا رنگ کھلتا ہوا تھا ۔

Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) died when he was sixty-three years old, and so was the case with Abu Bakr, and so was the case with Umar who was also sixty-three (when he died).

A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) died when he had attained the age of sixty-three. And a hadith like this had been transmitted on the authority of Sa'id b. Musayyib.

Amr reported: I said to 'Urwa: How long did Allah's Apostle - ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) stay in Mecca? He said: For ten years. I said: Ibn 'Abbas says (that he stayed in Mecca) for thirteen years.

Ibn 'Abbas reported that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) stayed in Mecca for thirteen years and he died when he had attained the age of sixty three years.
