Ubada b. as-Samit reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: The vision of a believer is the forty-sixth part of Prophecy.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «رُؤْيَا الْمُؤْمِنِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سِتَّةٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ»

محمد بن جعفر ، ابو داود عبد الرحمٰن بن مہدی اور معاذ عنبری ۔ الفاظ انھی کے ہیں ۔ ان سب نے شعبہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے قتادہ سے انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ، انھوں نے عباد د بن صامت رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انھوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : ایک مو من کا رؤیا نبوت کے چھیالیس حصوں میں سے ایک حصہ ہے ۔
