Ibn 'Abbas reported: I served (water from) Zamzam to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ), and he drank while standing, and he asked for it while he was near the House (i. e. House of Allah-Ka'ba).
و حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ سَمِعَ الشَّعْبِيَّ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ سَقَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ زَمْزَمَ فَشَرِبَ قَائِمًا وَاسْتَسْقَى وَهُوَ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ
  معاذ نے کہا : ہمیں شعبہ نے عاصم سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے شعبی کو سنا ، انھوں نے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے سنا ، انھوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو زمزم پلایا تو آپ نے کھڑے کھڑے پیا ، آپ نے ( اس وقت ) پانی مانگا تھا ( جب ) آپ بیت اللہ کے پاس تھے ۔

Anas b. Malik reported that there was brought to Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) a cup of milk mixed with water, while there was on his right a desert Arab and on his left Abu Bakr. He (the Holy Prophet) drank; he then gave it to the desert Arab and said: (Give to one) who is on the right, then again who is on the right.
