This tradition has been narrated on the authority of Nu'man b. Bashir through another chain of transmitters.

وحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ مِنْبَرِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي تَوْبَةَ

یحییٰ بن حسان نے کہا : ہمیں معاویہ نے حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : مجھے زید نے خبر دی کہ انہوں نے ابوسلام سے سنا ، انہوں نے کہا : مجھے نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے حدیث سنائی ، کہا : میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے منبر کے پاس بیٹھا تھا ، جس طرح ابوتوبہ کی حدیث ہے ۔

It has been narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Leaving (for Jihad) in the way of Allah in the morning or in the evening (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it.

It has been narrated on the authority of Sahl b. Sa'd as-Sa'idi that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: The journey undertaken by a person in the morning (for Jihad) in the way of Allah (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it.

It has been narrated on the authority of Sahl b. Sa'd as-Sa'idi that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: A journey undertaken in the morning or evening (fond Jihad) in the way of Allah (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it.

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: If some persons of my Umma (were not to undertake the hardships of Jihad), and he (Abu Huraira) then narrated the rest of the hadith and then said: A journey undertaken for jihad in the evening or morning merits a reward better than the world and all that is in it.

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Ayyub that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: A journey undertaken in the morning or evening (for Jihad) in the way of Allah is better than (anything) on which the sun rises or sets.
