This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Buraida but for the last two words.

وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي خَلَفٍ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ، وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ: «وَتَطَاوَعَا وَلَا تَخْتَلِفَا

عمرو اور زید بن ابی انیسہ دونوں نے سعید بن ابی بردہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے ( آگے ) اپنے دادا سے اور انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شعبہ کی حدیث کی طرح روایت کی ۔ اور زید بن ابی انیسہ کی حدیث میں یہ نہیں ہے : " دونوں آپس میں اتفاق رکھنا اور اختلاف نہ کرنا

The Messenger of Allah (may peace he upon him) has been reported by Anas b. Malik to have said: Show leniency; do not be hard; give solace and do not create aversion.

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: When Allah will gather together, on the Day of Judgment, all the earlier and later generations of mankind, a flag will be raised (to mark off) every person guilty of breach of faith, and it will be announced that this is the perfidy of so and so, son of so and so (to attract the attention of people to his guilt).
