This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Salama with another chain of transmitters.

وحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

ابان نے ہمیں حدیث بیان کی ، کہا : ہمیں یحییٰ نے حدیث بیان کی کہ انہیں محمد بن ابراہیم نے حدیث بیان کی ، انہیں ابوسلمہ نے حدیث بیان کی کہ وہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے ۔ ۔ آگے اسی کے مانند بیان کیا ۔

Abu Haraira reported Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: When you disagree about a path, its breadth should be made seven cubits.

Usama b. Zaid reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: A Muslim is not entitled to inherit from a non-Muslim, and a non-Muslim is not entitled to inherit from a Muslim.

Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Give the shares to those who are entitled to them, and what remains over goes to the nearest male heir.

Tawus reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) narrating that Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) said: Distribute the property amongst Ahl al-Fara'id, according to the Book of Allah, and what is left out of them goes to the nearest male heir.
