Jabir b. `Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reportedthat Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) had forbidden renting of land. Bukair (one of the narrators) said: Nafi` reported to me that he heard Ibn `Umar (Allah be pleased with them) saying: We usedto give land on rent; we then abandoned this practice when we heard the hadith of Rafi` b. Khadij.

وحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَهُ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ»، قَالَ بُكَيْرٌ: وَحَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، يَقُولُ: كُنَّا نُكْرِي أَرْضَنَا، ثُمَّ تَرَكْنَا ذَلِكَ حِينَ سَمِعْنَا حَدِيثَ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ

بکیر نے حدیث بیان کی کہ انہیں عبداللہ بن ابی سلمہ نے نعمان بن ابی عیاش سے حدیث بیان کی اور انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے زمین کو ( ممنوعہ طریقے سے ) کرائے پر دینے سے منع فرمایا ۔ بکیر نے کہا : مجھے نافع نے حدیث بیان کی کہ انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، وہ کہہ رہے تھے : ہم اپنی زمینیں بٹائی پر دیتے تھے ، پھر جب ہم نے حضرت رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیث سنی تو اسے ترک کر دیا

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbidding the selling (renting of) uncultivated land for two years or three.

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Apostle ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbidding selling of (produce) in advance for two years, and in the narmtion of Ibu Abd Shaiba (the words are): Selling of the fruits (on the tree) in advance for two years.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: He who has land should cultivate it or lend it to his brother, but if he refuses, he should retain his land.

Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) forbidding Muzabana, and Huqul. Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) said: Muzabana means the selling of fruits for dry dates and Huqul is the renting of land.

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) having forbidden Mazabana and Muhaqala. Muzibana means the buying of fruits on the trees and Muhaqala is the renting of land.
