Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger ( صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ) as saying: Do not buy fruit until its good condition becomes clear, and (the danger) of blight is no more. He said: Its good condition becoming clear implies that it becomes red or yellow.

حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَبْتَاعُوا الثَّمَرَ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ، وَتَذْهَبَ عَنْهُ الْآفَةُ»، قَالَ: يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ: حُمْرَتُهُ وَصُفْرَتُهُ

جریر نے ہمیں یحییٰ بن سعید سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے نافع سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "" تم پھل مت خریدو حتی کہ ان کی صلاحیت ظاہر ہو جائے اور اس سے آفت ( کا امکان ) ختم ہو جائے ۔ "" ( ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ) کہا : اس کی صلاحیت ( ظاہر ہونے ) سے اس کی سرخی اور زردی مراد ہے
