Zuhayr bin Harb narrated to me, Ism???l, rather, Ibn Ulayyah narrated to us, on authority of Abd il-Az?z ibn Suhayb, on authority of Anas bin M?lik, that he said: ?Indeed what prevents me from relating to you a great number of ?ad?th is that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, said: ?Whoever intends to lie upon me, then let him take his seat in the Fire.?

وحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَيَمْنَعُنِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَكُمْ حَدِيثًا كَثِيرًا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ تَعَمَّدَ عَلَيَّ كَذِبًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

حضرت انس بن مالک ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت ہے ، کہا : مجھے تمہارے سامنے زیادہ احادیث بیان کرنے سے یہ بات روکتی ہے کہ رسول اللہﷺ نے فرمایا تھا : ’’جس نے عمداً مجھ پر جھوٹ بولا وہ آگ میں اپنا ٹھکانا بنا لے

Muhammad bin Ubayd il-Ghubar? narrated to us, Ab? Aw?nah narrated to us, on authority of Ab? Has?n, on authority of Ab? S?lih, on authority of Ab? Hurayrah, he said, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, said: ?Whoever lies upon me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire?.

Muhammad bin Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Sa??d bin Ubayd narrated to us, Al? bin Rab??ah narrated to us, he said: ?I arrived at the Masjid and al-Mugh?rah, the Am?r of al-K?fah said: ?I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, saying, ?Indeed a lie upon me is not like a lie upon anyone else, for whoever lies upon me intentionally, then he shall take his seat in the Fire?.? ?

Al? bin Hujr as-Sa?d? narrated to us, Al? bin Mushir narrated to us, Muhammad bin Qays il-Asad? informed us, on authority of Al? ibn Rab??at al-Asad?, on authority of al-Mugh?rat ibn Shu?bah, on authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him a similar narration, however he did not mention the words ?Indeed a lie upon me is not like a lie upon anyone else?.

Ubayd Allah bin Mu??dh al-Anbar? narrated to us, my father narrated to us; and Muhammad bin ul-Muthann? narrated to us, Abd ur-Rahman bin Mahd? both narrated to us: Shu?bah narrated to us, on authority of Khubayb bin Abd ir-Rahman, on authority of Hafs bin ?sim, on authority of Ab? Hurayrah, he said, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, said: ?It is enough of a lie for a man to narrate everything he hears?.

Ab? Bakr bin Ab? Shaybah narrated to us, Al? bin Hafs narrated to us, Shu?bah narrated to us, on authority of Khubayb bin Abd ir-Rahman, on authority of Hafs bin ?sim, on authority of Ab? Hurayrah, on authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, the same as that.

Yahy? bin Yahy? narrated to us, Hushaym informed us, on authority of Sulaym?n at-Taym?, on authority of Ab? Uthm?n an-Nahd?, he said, Umar bin ul-Khatt?b, may Allah be pleased with him, said: ?It is enough of a lie for a man that he narrates everything he hears?.
